This regions occupies the East of the province of Guadalajara, forming an area
with a pronounced and singular geographic and historical personality. From a geographical
point of view, it is like a sucession of high bleaks and valleys that are enclaved in astonishing
cleefs, crafted over the years. Its spectacular landscapes and the enormous ecological value it
represents lead to the declaration of the region as Natural Reserve of Alto Tajo. The most
interesting cities in the region are: Molina de Aragón, Corduente, Checa, Peralejos de las
Truchas, Orea, Maranchón, Villel de Mesa, Tortuera y Tartanedo. |
