| La Campiña, the smallest region, is located in the West part of the province, bordered
by the Henares river on one side and the Jarama on the other. This region is also the flatest
one and is characterised by large fluvial terrasses suited for the cultivation of cereals,
fruit and vegetable. The principals villages of this region are Alovera, Yunquera de Henares,
Cabanillas del Campo, Humanes, Mohernando, Uceda et el Casar. |
